JMeter – JSR223 Assertion
JMeter includes a script-based assertion component called JSR223 Assertion. Java specification requests are known as JSRs. You should implement the assertion logic using one of the available scripting languages, such as Groovy, BeanShell, Java, javascript, jack, etc., just like the BeanShell assertion we covered earlier. This is generally useful if you need to compile original code based on an algorithm that JMeter doesn’t yet support. JSR223 Assertion allows you to write your own implementation of the code.
How do you add the ‘JSR223 Assertion’?
You can perform the following actions:
- Choose the ‘Sampler’ node whose response is to be checked.
- Place the right mouse button on the sampler component.
- Place the cursor on ‘Add’.
- Move your pointer over to “Claims.”
- Select ‘JSR223 Assertion’
What are the ‘JSR223 Assertion’ input fields?
There are the following input areas for “JSR223 Assertion”:
Name: To identify the name of the claim
Leave any comment random.
The selection of a scripting language is done in the language.
Script Passing Parameters: Script passing parameters. This quality is optional.
Text File – A file containing the instructions for the script. The desired output is the return value.
Caching during script compilation If the language used supports it, JMeter uses a unique string over the entire test plan to store the results of the script compilation. Groovy is a compilable interface; Java, BeanShell, and javascript are not.
Script: The script of the manual that contains the reason for the complaints.
Use JSR223 and Groovy test components as your scripting language whenever possible. While BeanShell and JavaScript must be interpreted, which adds some performance overhead, Groovy scripts are just as fast as Java.
